Bombay Sapphire Gin
Bombay Sapphire was named after its popularity in its origin of India during the British Raj days. The sapphire pertains to the Star of Bombay which is in the Smithsonian Institution for display. The brew is cased in a flat sapphire colored bottle and the label has a resemblance to Queen Victoria.
The flavor of the Bombay Sapphire boasts of having 10 exotic botanicals such as lemon peel, licorice, almond, orris root, coriander, juniper berries, angelica, cubeb, cassia, and paradise grains. It goes through a triple distillation process using a carterhead still while the vapors go through a basket mesh that hold the 10 ingredients to achieve flavor and scent. Through this, the lighter floral gin is acquired as compared to the other stronger brews that use the copper pot still distillation method. Lake Vymwy water is added to bring down the alcohol strength to 40% in UK. Its current manufacturer is Bombay Spirits Co. And distributed by Bacardi Limited. Bombay Sapphire Gin is a very common ingredient in gin drinks.
She Was So Healthy Though
I could not believe it when they told me of the news. Never did I think that this could happen to anyone. But one of my best friends, who exercised on a regular basis, just passed away this morning. My good friend, who I have known for the past 8 years, died of a massive heart attack. She was in so much good health and she usually watched what she ate. She was what you could consider a health nut. Although she tried to remain healthy, there was one particular part of her healthy living that could have contributed to her heart attack. What was a major problem in her life was that she drank too much gourmet coffee. She would usually buy gourmet coffee online on a weekly basis and would experiment with all types of flavors and brands of coffee. Her unbalanced lifestyle of drinking too much coffee could have contributed to her death.
